Job Description:

Incumbent must have skills and values needed to facilitate the groups.

Duites:

Assist with Pueblo of San Felipe Summer SOC and Project Venture Program activities including by not limited to:

  • Program preparation, debrief and logistical reporting each day.
  • Leading youth in experiential activities.
  • Learn and implement the Project Venture Full Value Commitment.
  • Lead or assist with Katisthya Intergenerational Cultural Knowledge Sessions.
  • Maintain a daily attendance log of all programs.
  • Maintain a daily log of program activities.
  • Attend all staff meetings/process sessions of program services.
  • Participate in the design of activities and sequencing.
  • Perform service learning activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education:  HS Student at least 16 years of age (High school juniors and seniors in good standing)
  • Experience/Basic Knowledge: Any experience, volunteer or paid, in Similar Programs preferred.
  • Required Certifications: KYLI experience desired
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and stand for long periods. Bends and stoops regularly.
  • Preferences: San Felipe Tribal Member and Keres Speaking Preference.
