The goal of the Family Services Department and Domestic Violence Prevention Program is to promote the social and emotional well-being of victims, women, children, youth and families who have experienced maltreatment, domestic violence, exposure to violence and sexual assault and provide the best quality and effective service as possible to the community members of San Felipe Pueblo so that they can achieve their full potential of unmet needs.
Services Provided
- Respond to child abuse/neglect reports
- Child abuse/neglect joint investigations with Law Enforcement
- Respond to, adult elder neglect and abuse
- Emergency Foster Care/Kinship Relative Care Placements
- Kinship Care/Foster Care Training
- Evening Parent Sessions
- One-time clothing/food allowance for children in out-of-home placements
- Emergency shelter/safe home cost allowance for DV clients
- Emergency transportation to shelter/safe home
- Assist client to obtain Public resources (Medicaid, TANF, SNAPS, SSI/Social Security Disability, LIHEAP, Food Pantry, etc.)
- Transportation to child Forensic Interviews/SANE
- Court Advocacy
- Child Support Advocacy
- On call 24/7 for crisis response
- Referrals to local service providers
- Case management
- Keres/English Interpretation

- Outdoor therapuetic activities for victims/survivors
- Transportation to Sexual Assault Nurses Examination (SANE) and Forensic Interviews
- Batterers Intervention Program (BIP) for Court-ordered individuals
