Job Description:

The Project Coordinator will be staff to the Partnership Advisory Team and oversee all grant activities with guidance from both the Partnership Advisory Team and the Tribal Administrator with day-to-day supervision from BHP Administrator.

Duites:

  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Ability to work across disciplines within the Justice, Health, Behavioral Health, and Family Services systems.
  • Ability to assist the Partnership in defining the San Felipe Pueblo Victims of Crime Services Program’s mission, then apply grant and Pueblo resources to accomplish it.
  • Ability to set goals and priorities.
  • Able to model and integrate the values and ethics of victim-centered programming.
  • Ability to connect the work between system partners and victim specific service programs, ensuring clear definition of roles/responsibilities for all partners.
  • Ability to meet milestones, identify benchmarks, address emerging challenges as they arise.
  • Ability to deliver a fully developed victims of crime services program on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Education:  Associate degree and or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field and 7 years of experience or Master’s degree in Social Work or related field and 3 to 5 years’ experience addressing victimization on Tribal lands.
  • Experience/Basic Knowledge:
  • Coordinating multi-year complex grants which includes meeting goals and objectives and financially managing grants budgets and meeting reporting requirements.
  • Ability to lead, guide, direct, inspire, influence and empower people to work as a team and meet mutually responsive goals.
  • Required Licenses/Certifications: Prefer a valid driver’s license.
  • Physical Requirements: Must have manual dexterity to enter and retrieve data from a computer. Ability to sit and stand for long periods. Bends and stoops regularly.
  • Preferences: San Felipe Tribal Member and Veteran’s Preference.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and effectively.
  • Computer knowledge including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be flexible, organize and skilled to handle a fast pace environment.
  • Ability to work with people and project with a positive attitude.

Working Conditions:

Works in office. Sits for long periods of time and types.
