Job Description:
Provides oversight, coordination and of the NTIA grant awarded to the Pueblo of San Felipe (PSF). Examines, evaluates, and ensures NTIA grant compliance. Ensures all NITA grant requirements are being followed through.
Duites:
- Tracks, logs, and maintains all funding requests in relation to NITA Grant.
- Tracks and monitors NITA Grant to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of agreement and established rules and regulations.
- Researches and monitors additional NTIA grant funding sources such as governmental agencies and philanthropic sources such as private and corporate foundations.
- Designs, formats, and prepares NITA grant documentation, including creation of computerized statistical summaries and/or graphics.
- Assists and ensures proposals comply and produces integrated grant submissions in accordance with funding agency requirements.
- Ensures files of NTIA grant information is recorded and/or information is maintained.
- Creates and distributes standard and special reports, studies, summaries and analysis as required or requested.
- Develops process and procedures for NTIA Grant.
- Requests and notifies program directors and ensures NTIA grant and contract narratives, special request of documents is received and submitted to funding agency and tribal files.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by conducting research, attending seminars, educational workshops, classes and conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing networks; participating in professional societies; conferring with representatives of contracting and related organizations.
- Prepares, complies, and designs presentations to NTIA Grant agencies if required.
- Serves as a liaison between NTIA Grant and Sr. Tribal Administrator.
- Prepares and provides regular reports and presentations to the Sr. Tribal Administrator when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associates Degree with at least 5 years of job experience.
- Knowledge of grants and maintaining grant compliance.
- Must pass a background check for position.
- Keres speaker preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of tribal, state and federal laws pertaining to sovereignty issues, self-governance, Indian Law, etc.
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, county and local laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Knowledge of tribal department organization, functions, objectives, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of federal grant reporting platforms, Grants.gov, JustGrants, etc.
- Skilled in operating various accounting, word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs in a Windows environment.
- Skill in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing operational and financial reports.
- Skill in communication. Verbal, written and presentation.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize program objectives and responsibilities.
- Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds.

Working Conditions:
Works in office. Sits for long periods of time, computer work, lifts up to 20 lbs. or more.
