Program Administrative Assistant (Part- Time)
The incumbent will work with Pueblo of San Felipe H&W Department’s Special Diabetes Program for Indians.

Job Description:
The incumbent will work with Pueblo of San Felipe Health & Wellness Department’s Special Diabetes Program for Indians (SDPI) providing administrative assistant tasks for the program staff. Additionally, the incumbent will also participant in live programming with community members as needed. This position is a non-benefit 2-3 days a week. Incumbent will have an interest in diabetes or willing to learn about diabetes.
Duites:
- Provides administrative assistant support to program administrator/coordinator as required to include but not limited to: creating flyers, tracking program attendance, phone duties, generate and update social media posts.
- Documents activities including number of individuals screened, number of individuals receiving physical activity consultant, and number of individuals who meet program goals and objectives.
- Support program nutritionist as needed.
- Attend program activities to assist program moderator to facilitate the execution of the program.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED and 3-5 years related work experience
Experience/Basic Knowledge:
- Support team members in assessing gaps in diabetes care and services, and develop and implement a coordinated, culturally appropriate, high quality, evidence-based diabetes prevention and treatment program.
- Knowledge of customs and mores of the Pueblo of San Felipe community, and appreciation for the importance of traditional ways of lifestyle and language.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide scope of people including families, children, youth, professionals, tribal groups, government agencies, private agencies, and tribal leaders.
- Possess a valid State driver’s license

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Familiarity with basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to manipulate data and modify programs to be consistent with requirements.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Windows, Word, Access, and Excel. Familiarity with Internet and e-mail.
- Keres speaking preferred or ability to work effectively with a translator.
