Tribal Programs

The San Felipe Pueblo Housing Authority (TDHE) was established by Tribal Council Resolution in 2000.  The Tribal Council established SFPHA to act as the Pueblo of San Felipe’s Tribally Designated Housing Entity (TDHE) and make decisions on all matters pursuant to housing development and implementation of the Pueblo of San Felipe’s Indian Housing Plan (IHP).  SFPHA is operated and functions under a seven-member Board of Commissioners that is appointed by the Governor and ratified by the Tribal Council.  SFPHA has an administrative staff of nine and manages a construction crew of up to forty-five Tribal members through a HUD-approved Tribal Work Force/Force Account.  SFPHA also acts as a Construction Manager for the Tribe through a formal MOU that was approved by the Tribe in 2005.  Depending on the work schedule, SFPHA can assist the Pueblo with projects on an as-needed basis.
