Gaming Commission

The San Felipe Pueblo Gaming Regulatory Commission was established to regulate all games of chance within the San Felipe Pueblo Reservation; Implementing and administering a system, including the promulgation of regulations, for investigating, licensing, and monitoring management, employees, vendors, and others connected with gaming activities, including the issuance of temporary licenses and licenses to individuals and entities and the verification of internal controls, as required under the Gaming Ordinance, IGRA, the Tribal/State Compact, To promulgate rules for any Class II or Class III gaming activity on the Reservation;  Serving as the Tribal Gaming Agency for purposes of implementing the Tribal/State Compact entered into between the Pueblo and the State of New Mexico, to make such reports regarding Class III gaming NIGC MICS, or equivalent procedures. The San Felipe Pueblo Gaming Regulatory Commission is also responsible for contracting with the National Indian Gaming Commission for the enforcement of federal regulations governing gaming on Indian reservations.
